Updated Bandwidth Recommendations
In an effort to provide TMX IP clients with timely guidance, we regularly review and evaluate the existing bandwidth recommendations. We have updated our recommendations in 2025 to ensure they adequately reflect the growth in the market activity from the contributing marketplaces.
We recognize the impact that bandwidth and messaging rates have on downstream client systems and, therefore, we wish to advise that the recommended bandwidths for the TMX market data feed services have been revised and can be found on the .
Clients are advised that microbursts occur from time to time, and it is recommended to allocate sufficient bandwidth to cope with the microbursts and avoid packet loss.
